There has been much questioning and speculation about my plans to run for the Interim Chair position on the Prince William County School Board. This letter is designed to end those questions. I never applied to become Chairman and have no desire to seek that position now. I am first and foremost the representative for the Occoquan District until December 31, 2019.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On March 18 at 2:28AM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Prince William Parkway and Noble Pond Way in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a two-vehicle crash.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — A sedan collided with a truck carrying oxygen about 2 p.m. causing the truck to overturn and a major road closure.
It happened at the intersection of Route 234 and Pinnacle Ridge Drive, south of Lake Jackson and north of Purcell Road in Prince William County.

Homicide Investigation *CASE RECLASSIFIED – On March 16, the body discovered inside of a burning vehicle at Veterans Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr in Woodbridge underwent an autopsy at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Manassas. Based upon further examination of the victim’s body and the preliminary investigation, police detectives and fire investigators are now investigating the victim’s manner of death as a homicide. Due to the condition of the victim’s body, further DNA analysis will need to be completed to confirm an identity. The cause of the victim’s death and the fire continue to be investigated. This case remains a joint investigation with the Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Department of Fire & Rescue, Fire Marshal’s Office. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
