WOODBRIDGE — The project checks all the boxes, county documents show.

A 250,000-square foot medical hub proposed by healthcare juggernaut Kaiser Permanente to be located in Woodbridge, dubbed Kaiser South, would fit the county’s long-range development plan to bring more commercial business development to the east side of the county.

WOODBRIDGE — A Navy veteran needs the Woodbridge community’s help locating his missing truck he inherited from his late brother.

Sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. on March 12, a black 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Intimidator SS was stolen from the 2900 block of Wren Court in Woodbridge. The truck disappeared from the home of Derek Toland, a Navy veteran, and his wife Jamie Randall.

STAFFORD — (Press release) The body of a missing male subject was found in the Rappahannock River late on Thursday night. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident.

On March 14, 2019, at approximately 10:58 p.m., units responded to reports of a body found in the Rappahannock River. Two fishermen had observed what appeared to be a body floating in the river near the Little Falls boat ramp and immediately reported it to law enforcement.

WOODBRIDGE — At Neabsco Commons next to Northern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge campus, there’s a hotel, some retail, and room for office space.

Situated along Interstate 95 in Woodbridge, in an area well-positioned for growth, office space is what Prince William County planners want for the region. They want it so much, last year the Board of Supervisors agreed to give nearly a half-million dollars in economic incentives to a firm named “Brickyard,” which operates a co-working space Loudoun County, to open a co-work space at Neabsco Common.

FALMOUTH — (Press release) The body of a teen killed Prince Georges County, Md. was driven and dumped on River Road.

On Saturday, March 9, 2019, at approximately 4:50 a.m., a deputy with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was driving down River Road when he observed an unknown object in the area between the road and the Rappahannock River. He exited his vehicle and realized upon closer inspection that the object was the body of a male subject. He also observed signs of trauma to the body.


WOODBRIDGE – (Press Release) On March 12 at 2:57 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 13131 Hillendale Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery.

The store clerk reported to police that two unknown men entered the store through the front door and approached the counter. During the encounter, one of the men displayed a knife and assaulted the clerk. The men then took tobacco products and an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.


Prince William

DALE CITY — The Prince William County Office of Elections produced a brochure with information on the upcoming Tuesday, April 9 in Prince William County.

The winner of the election will represent the Neabsco Magisterial District on the Prince William County Board of Supervisors through the end of the year and would replace the long-serving John D. Jenkins who passed away in February.
