MANASSAS – (Press Release) On November 29, 2018 at approximately 1:51 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the area of Signal Hill Rd and Fairview Ave for a report of shots fired. A witness reported to police they observed a subject discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Based on information from a witness, the Prince William County Police Department was able to locate the suspect vehicle. The Prince William County Police Department pursued the vehicle after it failed to stop. At the conclusion of the pursuit, two subjects were taken into custody by the Prince William County Police Department (See Prince William County Police’s release for additional information). After an investigation by Manassas City Police Department detectives, the passenger, Alexis CARRASQUILLO SANTANA, was charged with willfully discharging a firearm within 1000 feet of a school and reckless handling of a firearm. CARRASQUILLO SANTANA is currently being held with no bond at the Prince William County Detention Center.

STAFFORD — We now know where the worst roads are in Stafford County.

A comprehensive review of local roadways ordered in March by Garrisonville District Supervisor Mark Dudenhefer yielded two spreadsheets listing a total of 94 county roads ranked from worst to best when it comes to traffic volume, safety, and the potential for development along the roadway.


STAFFORD – (Press Release) Walmart, 11 Village Parkway, 11/28. Employee reports a past occurred larceny after two suspects were observed leaving the store without paying for two suitcases. The investigation is ongoing.
