A plane crashed in Spotsylvania County today as the pilot was attempted to land on Lake Anna.
The crash occurred today at 4:27 p.m. at 3318 Fisherman’s Way.

Joshua "Josh" Ray Testerman, 25, of Woodbridge, Virginia on August 19, 2019 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.
He is survived by his parents Shirley and Ben Testerman, grandmother Brenda Testerman, sisters Melissa Hecker and Amber Testerman, niece Kaitlyn Hecker, nephews Declan and Aiden and many aunts and uncles, and cousins.
MANASSAS PARK — Fire crews were called to a small fire inside of a townhouse.
The fire was caused by a candle burning inside the home in the 8000 block of Duck Pond Drive, behind the Manassas Park Fire and Rescue Station. The occupant of the home called 911, and then evacuated, according to initial reports.
