Dwight Robert Earle was born on September 4, 1953 to Woodrow and Ruth Earle. Dwight grew up in King George Virginia and later moved Washington DC. Dwight attended King George High School and DC Public schools.
Dwight served his country (Army) from September 26, 1977 through September 9, 1985 where he received an honorable discharged.

Germanna Community College has been awarded a grant of $561,000 to develop coursework for geospatial technology and unmanned aircraft systems training. Germanna will be in partnership with Virginia Tech, Old Dominion University and the Virginia Space Grant Consortium to develop these programs.

The City of Manassas has chosen William A. Garrett, a man with over 32 years of experience in public safety, to be its new Fire and Rescue Chief. Garrett will be replacing Chief Rob Clemons, who is set to retire on August 28.
