The 94 Prince William crossing guards play a major role in keeping children safe throughout the school year.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently named Feb. 10, 2021, as Crossing Guard Appreciation Day to recognize the highly qualified, trained professional corps of dedicated men and women who protect children and teach them pedestrian safety.

United Bank, the largest community bank headquartered in the D.C. Metro region, recently moved its Battlefield Branch to a new facility near Manassas, at 8323 Sudley Road. The former branch premises, located at 10830 Balls Ford Road, has permanently closed.

All customer accounts and safety deposit boxes were seamlessly consolidated and moved to the new location automatically in November 2020. Throughout the transition and after, United Bank remained committed to providing excellence in service to customers and the Manassas/Prince William community.
