Wyatt Jay Duncan was born on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Virginia Hospital Center of Arlington to parents Serena and Christopher. He passed away in the loving arms of his parents on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Joseph Andrew Humenik of Dumfries, VA on Sunday, May 9th at the age of 72 years.

Joe was born in Gary, Indiana; graduated from Perdue University, was a longtime employee of the federal government, and has lived in Northern Virginia for over 45 years. He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, VA since 1980 where he served as a CCD educator, usher, and lay eucharist minister. Joe was also an active member of Knights of Columbus John Paul I Council 7165 since 1985. In 2015, he received his 4th Degree Knight, a Sir Knight of Father Edward L. Richardson Assembly 3174.

Richard "Rick" Joseph Frechette, age 66, was born on July 16, 1954 to Alphee and Irene Frechette. He died peacefully in his home on May 11, 2021 after a sudden, short illness.

He grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, then entered the US Army. He was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, where he met his wife of 44 years, Lynn Leighty Frechette. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Richard Raymond Frechette, two grandchildren Helynn Frechette and William (Liam) Olson and his sister Mariann Nievera.

Oscar Banks, 66, of Woodbridge, Virginia on April 27, 2021. The family will receive visitors Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. at Belvoir Chapel, 5950 12th Street, Ft. Belvoir, VA 22060. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.

Obituaries

Sidney “Buck” Brown, 78, of Woodbridge, Virginia, died May 6, 2021, at home after a long illness. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and raised in Austin, Texas.

He retired from the US Army after serving 22 years and worked for Computer Sciences Corporation until he became ill. He loved all things Texas from the Dallas Cowboys to armadillos and never missed a NASCAR race.

Michael Edward Felt, 58, of Haymarket, Virginia, passed away on May 10, 2021. Michael was born on April 27, 1963 to Joseph and Gayle Darleen Felt in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

Mike was employed by NOVEC, a career that spanned over 40 years and was marked with many accomplishments. He started his career in 1985 as a part-time Assistant Substation Communication Technician through the Cooperative Education Student Program. Shortly thereafter he became a full-time permanent employee in the position of Assistant Substation Communication Technician. In 1994 he was promoted to Supervisor, Technical Services after being a Substation Technician and Senior Substation Technician. He earned his BA in Applied Science and Technology from Thomas Edison State College in 1995. Mike cherished his work friends and always looked forward to the annual NOVEC Charity golf tournament.
