The Virginia Railway Operations Board discussed the proposed name change in its closed session meeting Friday, September 20 in Woodbridge.
The Broad Run-Airport Station at the end of the Manassas VRE line would be renamed Manassas Airport Station if the name change is approved.
Located in North Stafford and once a Christian school, it’s the newest county school facility.
“I was blown away by the work that they’ve done to get this up and running this year,” Northam said.
It’s called AWS Educate, and it’s billed as the future of learning the ins and outs of cloud computing in Virginia.

Manassas Park has opened its newest, passive park, replacing a failed golf course once operated by Prince William County.
The 270-acre is located near the Blooms Quarry neighborhood.

The new homes in the cluster development will be built behind Signal Hill Elementary School, in the county, between the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.
The plan calls for the demolition of all men’s urinals in every county school.
