Hometown soccer hero sidelined at Olympic trials
Ali Krieger will be sidelined six to eight months after sustaining tears to the medial collateral and anterior cruciate ligaments in her right knee Friday in the United States’ first game of the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic Women’s Qualifying tournament in Vancouver, Canada, reports Insidenova.com.

No more country for old buffets
Buffets Inc. said Wednesday it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to close 81 restaurants nationwide. It operates under a variety of names, including Old Country Buffet.
