NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Construction crews this weekend will finish what they started last weekend. New steel beams will be erected at a bridge at Telegraph Road in North Stafford.

With the new steel will come delays on along a portion of Interstate 95 where the work will take place. Drivers wills be detoured off the highway and onto U.S. 1 both Friday and Saturday nights.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. — An alleged message from the FBI prompted a the suspect in a child pornography case to bring in his computer to a police station. Following the suspect’s arrest, police stated this is the third arrest this month in Prince William County “involving juveniles sending inappropriate photos or messages to adults.”

DUMFRIES, Va. — Two weeks of strongly-worded emails among members of the Dumfries Business Association came to a head Wednesday night.

It started when Chris Caldwell, who runs a consulting firm in Dumfries, emailed a list of members of the Dumfries Business Association. In the emails, Caldwell questioned the number of meetings the organization holds, the effectiveness of the group’s leadership, and suggested the organization be a stronger voice in local politics.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Next month, the Greater Prince William Community Health Center will celebrate National Health Center Week.

The annual event at the center will be held over three days, August 13, 14, and 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.


Virginia’s Sales Tax Holiday is coming August 2 – 4, where shoppers can get back-to-school gear tax free.

The statewide tax holiday applies to a wide range of items, from clothing, computer gear, to office and school supplies. The Virginia Department of Taxation has provided a list of tax-exempt items on their website.
