Fredericksburg is in the midst of its annual restaurant week and it could be a step in getting back to normal following the coronavirus shutdown.

Starting today, participating restaurants are offering a menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drink specials that are sold at price points in the “20 of 2020” range, between $4.20 and $40.20.


Police in Prince William County shared information about some online tools that make it easier for neighbors to work together to keep their homes safe.

The department hosted an online meeting to discuss the benefits of having an estbalished neighborhood watch program, with neighbors on the lookout for suspicious activities.


The Prince William County Solid Waste Division and Keep Prince William Beautiful are holding a fix-it fair, and fixers are needed.

This event will take place on October 17, 2020, from 10 am to 4 pm, in conjunction with Prince William Recycles Day. Residents will have the opportunity to bring items for repair and reuse.

The town has canceled its Riverfest and Craft Show that was set to take place on September 27 and 28 due to the concerns over the coronavirus. is canceled this year. The Riverfest event was slated to replace the town’s annual spring craft show, which in recent years had seen a drop in attendance.


The Workhouse Arts Center is thrilled to announce “Nightmare Prison,” Northern Virginia’s first-ever Haunted Drive-Thru, is coming to Lorton for this year’s Halloween season.

A haunted attraction is, itself, a long-standing tradition offered by the Workhouse, which serves not only as entertainment but also as an extension of the Workhouse Performing Arts program, allowing local youth to practice their set production and theatrical skills.

Tucked Away Brewing Company will host Severing All Ties, a benefit to support Mental Health America (MHA), a charity organization based in Virginia.

The event will feature a live heavy metal concert at the Manassas brewery — the first of its kind since the city and state located down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
