Water’s End Brewery will hold a soft opening for its newest taproom this weekend. ‘Fredericksburg Square’, a 19,000 square foot property at 525 Caroline Street, will be home to the third Water’s End Brewery operation and soon a new Hot Chickn Kitchn location.

The soft opening weekend, which takes place Friday, July 1, from 3 until 11 p.m., Saturday, July 2 from noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday, July 3 from noon until 8 p.m., will mark step 1 of the opening process for Fredericksburg Square.

GreenDrop celebrated the grand opening of its new donation center in the Braemar Village Plaza in Bristow. The company invited local community members to drop off gently used clothing and household items at its new donation center.

All donations will be converted into critical funds benefiting GreenDrop’s nonprofit partners, the American Red Cross, Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, and the National Federation of the Blind.

A new Amazon Fresh grocery store opened near Manassas today.

The 45,000-square-foot store is the largest in the chain and sits at Sudley Manor Square, 7807 Sudley Road. The has grand opening deals and festivities at the store through this weekend including gift card giveaways, free samples, and special discounts.


There’s a new pop-up shop at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center.

Veterans Growing America, an organization that connects military veterans and their families with local businesses, will open at 15001 Potomac Town Place, Suite 130. Inside, shoppers will find 20 tables showcasing products from vendors produced by military members, spouses, or their dependents.
