GreenDrop celebrated the grand opening of its new donation center in the Braemar Village Plaza in Bristow. The company invited local community members to drop off gently used clothing and household items at its new donation center.

All donations will be converted into critical funds benefiting GreenDrop’s nonprofit partners, the American Red Cross, Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, and the National Federation of the Blind.

A new Amazon Fresh grocery store opened near Manassas today.

The 45,000-square-foot store is the largest in the chain and sits at Sudley Manor Square, 7807 Sudley Road. The has grand opening deals and festivities at the store through this weekend including gift card giveaways, free samples, and special discounts.


There’s a new pop-up shop at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center.

Veterans Growing America, an organization that connects military veterans and their families with local businesses, will open at 15001 Potomac Town Place, Suite 130. Inside, shoppers will find 20 tables showcasing products from vendors produced by military members, spouses, or their dependents.


The Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fredericksburg program graduated its 15th class during a ceremony at the University of Mary Washington Stafford Campus.

In September, the class began the Leadership Fredericksburg program with a personality profile assessment. Leadership content was taught by a faculty consisting of Dr. David Corderman, Academy Leadership Associates, Dr. J.R. Flatter, Flatter, Inc., Janel Donohue, Rappahannock United Way, Kimberly Young, University of Mary Washington, and Susan Spears, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber.


The national broadcaster analyzed all craft brewery Yelp reviews across the U.S. and listed the top brewery in each state. The list considered the beer of each establishment and the ambiance and service of each brewery.

The four-year-old brewery has a legion of fans online and an even more dedicated crew of regulars who line up at the brewery at 15 Tech Parkway, just off Route 610 in North Stafford. According to founder Barry Boyd and members of his family who sat down for an interview with Potomac Local News, the establishment’s success is built on service.


The Stafford County Economic Development Authority held its annual Business Appreciation Reception on May 25, 2022, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center.

This year’s theme Honoring Local Business Heroes recognized the community’s strength during the coronavirus pandemic, and the government-ordered shutdowns.


Bristow Pediatrics is the first business tenant at The Landing at Cannon Branch in Manassas. relocated its office to the City at 9709 Buchanan Loop in the newly built office and retail shell building near Tru by Hilton and Manassas’s Customer Service Center. The doctor’s office had been located about three miles west in the Bristow Center shopping plaza just outside the city, anchored by Harris Teeter.

Bristow Pediatrics has offered comprehensive family care since 2012. Their team of clinicians, led by business owners Dr. Gail Dolan and their husband Kevin, has a special focus on the mental health of their patients as well as preventative care. Bristow Pediatrics cares for patients from newborns to those in their early 20s having their own children.
