Traffic is moving again on Interstate 95 in North Stafford following a crash that involved an overturned tractor-trailer.

Stafford County will open its schools this fall for daycare. It’ll keep the buildings closed for teachers and students.
The county school division says it plans to house up to 675 students, across 13 different schools, as part of a daycare program hosted by the Massad Family YMCA on Butler Road in Falmouth. Children of Stafford County Government employees will get priority placement in the schools, while others will be placed at other sites as selected by the YMCA.
Manassas will give nearly a half-million dollars to help residents find a new job or train for a new one.

Trespassing is a problem at Abel Lake, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s office.
Deputies have written 25 summons for trespassing during the summer months, said Maj. Shawn Kimmtiz. They’ve also stepped up patrols in and around the area of the lake, which serves as one of three of the county’s drinking water reservoirs.
A Prince William County-based pharmaceutical company was given the green light today to begin testing its new coronavirus treatment.

Sentara announced a merger with another regional healthcare provider based in North Carolina.
It remains to be seen what effect the merger will have on the Northern Virginia marketplace, where Sentara operates both a hospital in Woodbridge and a smaller, full-service medical center in Lake Ridge.
While it may be quiet on campus as students will return the classroom virtually this fall, construction is underway at two Woodbridge-area high schools.
Auxilliary gymnasiums are being added to Gar-Field Senior and Woodbridge Senior High Schools in Woodbridge and Lake Ridge, respectively. The new gyms at both schools will 21,000 square-foot large when completed.
