A shooting suspect is in custody after deputies executed a search warrant yesterday.
A man accused of beating a woman unconscious in Woodbridge is now behind bars.
Police were patrolling the parking lot of the Woodbridge Virginia Railway Express station, located at 1040 Express Way in the Belmont Bay area, when they found a suspect wanted in connection to the assault that occurred in the parking lot of the nearby Marumsco Plaza located at 13901 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge on December 12.
On January 7, 2021, at 12:29 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department were called to a 7-Eleven located at 9100 Mathis Avenue for a report of a robbery.
The victim stated that an unknown man entered the store carrying a knife and demanded that the victim open the cash register. The suspect received an unknown amount of money and fled the scene on foot prior to the officer’s arrival, police told PLN.
