GAINESVILLE — (Press Release) On September 22 at 2:29 a.m., investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Sudley Road near Catharpin Road in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.

The investigation revealed a white, 4-door sedan was traveling westbound on Sudley Rd when the vehicle struck a pedestrian, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile. The juvenile, a family member, and co-worker were completing a sealcoat job of a driveway at a residence in the above area at the time of the collision.

Prince William County Public Works needs volunteers on Saturday October 6th at 8am for a clean-up event at the Neabsco Creek Wetlands. Equipment and beverages provided but please wear comfortable boots or shoes, dress for the weather, bring gloves and safety goggles. WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) It’s that time of year, time for our Annual TASTE OF THE TOWN: Home Sweet Home Dinner.

This year’s event will be held on October 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW Post 1503, 14371 Minnieville Road, Dale City. This event raises funds that are critical in helping Project Mend-A-House to fulfill its mission of providing free home repairs to Seniors, Low-Income, Veterans and Persons with disabilities in Prince William County.
