STAFFORD COUNTY — Fire crews were called to a fire inside a three-story apartment.
At 11:39 p.m. Sunday, crews from the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department were called to the 200 block of Chivalry Way in the Berea off Route 17.

WOODBRIDGE — Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 15010 Illinois Road in Woodbridge at 9:50 p.m. Sunday.
Fire crews arrived on scene and found smoke. After locating and speaking with the residents of the house, firefighters found a fire in the first-floor laundry room.
MANASSAS — (Press Release) During National Police Week each year, the Rotary Club of Manassas hosts a lunch in recognition of the Manassas City Police Department’s Employee of the Year.
This year Detective Andrew Speights has been named Manassas City Police Department Officer of the Year.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently received staff input on potential mobility and park bond referenda.
If authorized by the board, the bond referenda will be placed on the November 2019 election ballot and citizens will be able to vote on whether to authorize the board debt finance the mobility and parks projects through general obligation bonds.
