WOODBRIDGE — (Press release) The Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism has designated the cultural and recreational assets of Rippon Lodge Historic Site, Rippon Landing Park and the new Neabsco Creek Boardwalk that will open June 1 as a new regional parkland complex.
The various sites comprising this new park are near the Neabsco Creek tidal wetlands which feed like bays into the Potomac River. This opportunity allows us to leverage the full tourism potential of current historic property holdings, accelerate natural resource management, accelerate cultural land acquisition and preservation, and expand educational programming.
