PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release)  On August 2 at 8:23 a.m., officers responded to the area near Hoadly Rd. and Dumfries Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a fight.

The victim, a 35-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. The investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to leave the area in his vehicle when the accused drove his own vehicle aggressively towards the victim.

STAFFORD — (Press Release) The annual National Night Out is a highly anticipated celebration in Stafford and this year, there are even more ways to enjoy it.

The main event is being held at Stafford Marketplace and 13 neighborhoods are holding their own celebrations. Last year, more than 8,000 people enjoyed the fantastic family-friendly event sponsored by the Stafford Sheriff’s Office at Stafford Marketplace.


STAFFORD COUNTY — (Press Release) Two suspects were arrested early Monday morning by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a breaking and entering at a local business. 

On July 29, 2019, at approximately 4:33 a.m., Deputy Stachurski responded to a reported breaking and entering at Fredericksburg Motor Sports located at 430 Kings Highway. A security guard advised that three male subjects were in the process of breaking into the business. 


DUMFRIES — (Press Release)  On July 9, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into an abduction that occurred in the area of the 17300 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22026) on March 19.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that while in his vehicle at the above location, an unknown man, later identified as the accused, intimidated the victim into giving him a ride. During the encounter, the victim drove the accused to a residence and then a shopping center on Jefferson Davis Hwy. where the accused finally exited the vehicle.
