Cierra Dickerson appears in a Prince William County courtroom on July 1 to enter a plea after being charged in the racing death of a Woodbridge woman.

Dickerson is charged with the death of Deborah Lynn Talbot, who was walking her dog along Cardinal Drive on May 1, 2020. Police said Dickerson was racing her car when she struck and killed Talbot.

The Prince William County Government has launched a new website.

The county chose a new address for the site, now pwcva.gov, shedding the old pwcgov.org which dates back to the 1990s. When pwcgov.org is entered, users are automatically redirected to the new site. It’s a massive website containing information for the operation of the county government, the second-largest in Virginia.

On April 23, 2021, at 1:05 p.m., officers responded to the area of Liberia Avenue and Centreville Road for the report of a hit and run, involving an older model dark green Ford Explorer, occupied by two men that had struck several vehicles and then fled the scene.

Two wanted individuals are in custody and are facing additional drug charges after a traffic stop.

On April 28 at 10:05 a.m., Deputy B.W. Gildea stopped a vehicle leaving the Sleep Inn on Warrenton Road. Deputy Gildea began speaking with the driver who appeared nervous and reluctant to provide her identification, according to the sheriff’s office.
