U.S. Marshalls arrested Daniel James Gilliam, 18, of 14718 Birchdale Drive in Dale City. They found him March 5 at a home on Caroline Street in Woodbridge and he was taken in without incident, according to Prince William police documents.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A proposal that aimed to ban through trucks on portions of two rural roads in Stafford County has failed.
Though the measure had support from residents who live along Truslow and Enon roads in Stafford County where the proposed ban aimed to limit trucks, representatives from trucking companies in the county said banning trucks along these roads – which are used as cut-through routes to avoid more congested roads like Interstate 95 and U.S. 1 — would mean truck drivers would sit in traffic longer and would burn more fuel.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Construction of a new commuter lot in Woodbridge is underway next to the largest commuter lot in the state.
Dubbed the Telegraph Road Lot, when it’s finished, the new lot will boast 700 commuter parking spaces and will sit next to the Horner Road Lot at Prince William Parkway and Interstate 95. The Horner Road Lot is the largest commuter lot in the Virginia with more than 2,300 parking spaces, making it popular with carpoolers and commuter bus riders.
Polling places across Virginia are open today as Republicans help to decide who will be that party’s presidential candidate in the November General Election.
Virginia and eight other states are taking part in Super Tuesday, which is traditionally the first Tuesday in March during a presidential election when a several states hold primaries at the same time.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — The man charged in a burglary that prompted a SWAT team into action last week faces new charges after a gun was found in his rectum, police said.
Brandon Delonte Braxton, 18, was being held in a Manassas jail in connection to a Feb. 27 burglary on Ladino Court in Woodbridge when jail officers found a small gun inside his rectum, police documents state. Investigators believe Braxton put the gun there prior to his arrest.
