RICHMOND, Va. – More than 200 men and women lined the sidewalk behind the Governor’s Mansion on Thursday night to protest Gov. Bob McDonnell’s signing of a bill requiring women to undergo an ultrasound before an abortion.
The new 7000 Series Metro rail car was unveiled today on the web.
The new cars are missing Metro’s uniform brown exterior paint scheme, and the multicolored seating many riders have become accustomed to.

The Health Center is offering two flu shots for just $19 during all open hours. When one adult purchases a flu shot for $19, a related family member age 18 or under can get a free flu shot.
Daylight-saving time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday which means changes to schedules around the region – including Metro rail.
Clocks will move ahead one hour at 2 a.m. and the transit system that ferries riders between Virginia and Washington will close earlier.
