WOODBRIDGE, Va. — If you want to get your point across in any argument, take a cue from skilled debaters at Potomac High School. Two Potomac students have honed their research and speaking skills, composure, and competitive drive sufficiently to best the best at local, regional, state, and Collegiate National Invitationals.

It is no small feat to master the art of debate. Our country’s history is filled with stories of great debaters as far back as Colonial times; and students of ancient history and philosophy likely know well the works of great orators. Perhaps we will find the young standouts someday taking on a leadership role in the great debates about our nation.
