Virginians suffering from Crohn’s disease or similar medical conditions would have the right to use a store’s employee restroom when they have an urgent need for a toilet, under a bill before the General Assembly.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — An 85-year-old structure holding back the Occoquan River so pleasure boaters can use Lake Jackson is leaking, Prince William Coles District Supervisor Marty Nohe said Tuesday during a meeting of the county’s Board of Supervisors.

Just the thought of a leaking dam has a way of making those who live near it, or downstream, feel uneasy. But officials say they are on top of the situation and have brought in a contractor to figure out why two “toe drains” at the bottom of the dam are leaking.
