On Tuesday, March 5, Congressman Gerry Connolly and Jim Moran introduced legislation to study the extension of Metrorail from Franconia-Springfield to eastern Prince William County. The extension would include an addition to the Blue Line along Interstate 95 through Woodbridge to Potomac Mills, and the Yellow Line down the U.s. 1 corridor in Prince William County.

LAKE RIDGE, Va. — The report of a man missing inside a house during a two-alarm blaze sent fire crews racing into the house in a frantic search to find him.

DALE CITY, Va. — An employee at a pawn shop in Dale City was stabbed this afternoon during at attempted robbery.
Police reported the stabbing about 2 p.m. Thursday, and said it happened at Pawn City at 4124 Dale Boulevard.
MANASSAS, Va. — The Manassas community will come together this weekend to remember a young life taken too soon by a mean strain of the flu.
Joshua Long, 16, died Sunday night at Children’s Medical Center in Washington after complications with the virus. He was a student at Manassas’ Osbourn High School.
