MANASSAS, Va. –– Comcast will move 80 call center jobs away from Manassas in a consolidation of the cable company’s regional operations.
The jobs will move to two other Comcast call centers in Maryland, one in Silver Spring and the other in White Marsh. The move will take effect September 7, and those employees impacted by the change currently answer Comcast customers’ questions about billing and adding new services.

The car left a hole in the brick home of the Prince William County School Board Member, and police and fire and rescue crews were called to the scene.
