DUMFRIES, Va. — Art, gift baskets, gift certificates, and historical memorabilia were silently auctioned off in Dumfries on Saturday night.
Historic Dumfries’ 2nd Annual Victorian Holiday Silent Auction was held at the Dumfries – Triangle Rescue Squad. About 200 people came to the event, each purchasing a ticket for $5 each to support the town’s museum, the Weems-Botts House, which served as the home of George Washington’s biographer.

This movie is the brainchild of Writer/Director J.C. Chandor (“Margin Call”), and for some reason he needed the 77-year-old Redford to pull it off.

The suspects are accused of taking to the streets to buy prescription narcotics and heroin, according to police.
