Delores Ione Rison, 85, of Milford, VA, passed away on January 29, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Russell C. Rison. Loving mother of Georgia Herrell (Marvin); Lucille Dodson (Richard Minter); Russell D. Rison (Rosemary); Mitchell P. Rison ; and Teny Cahill (Bobby). Cherished grandmother of 22. Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother to many. The family will receive friends at the MOUNTCASTLE TURCH FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Sunday, February 1, 2014 from 1 to 5 PM, where services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Dumfries Cemetery. James B. Pittman, 90, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on January 27, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Grace Pittman. Loving father of Randy Pittman (Sandra); Sherry Lucas ( Herbert); Brenda Simmons; Eddie Pittman (Lisa); and Jennifer Via (Jl). Cherished grandfather of 20, great grandfather of 38 and 1great great grandson. Dear brother of Mildred Herndon and Elizabeth Williams. Mr. Pittman was predeceased by his sons Alec Pittman (Late Sharon) and Jeff Pittman (Late Patty), as well as a sister Doris Sears. James was a Navy Veteran of World War II. The family will receive friends at the MOUNTCASTLE TURCH FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery with Navy Honors at 1:30 PM.

The time it takes for rain to change over to snow will determine how much accumulation, if any, we will see from the low pressure system to move through our area tonight and into Monday morning.

A winter storm watch is issued for Loudoun County, but no warnings are in effect for Prince William. But we still could see some flakes, according to the weather service.

Snow is back in the forecast is back for us tonight. While Stafford County is not currently under a winter storm watch, nearby Loudoun County and counties in Maryland are under a winter storm  watch, with a projection of more than five inches of snow to begin tonight.

There is a possibility for wintry conditions in Stafford, with a mixture of rain and snow, although little snow accumulation is expected.

A line of cars waiting to pull into the White Horse Auto Wash on U.S. 1 in Woodbridge backed out onto the street at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The busy business already had several vehicles being cleaned while more customers waited patiently to get their rides hosed down with soap and water.

More drivers in Northern Virginia are being cited for texting while driving than any other portion of the state.

New statistics from the police agency show 567 drivers were cited statewide for sending a text message while behind the wheel in 2013. A total of 287 of those drivers were cited while in Northern Virginia, to include Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun counties.
