For the fourth consecutive year, Police Officer Jeremy Schenck was awarded a Law Enforcement Award of Excellence for “outstanding commitment in the fight against drunk driving in the Greater Washington area” from the Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP).
PRICNE WILLAIM COUNTY, Va. — Ramunda Young will now serve on the Prince William County Human Rights Commission.
Young was appointed to the 9-member board by Prince William Neabsco District Supervisor John Jenkins. The 20-year-old commission works to prohibit discrimination of county residents by race, sex, color, or religion.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Crews on Thursday were out affixing traffic signals to steel poles at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Featherstone Road in Woodbridge.
The new poles will eventually replace the lines that have been used to suspend signal lights over traffic at this busy intersection.
