As a Member of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, I have strongly advocated for transparency in our local government.
Any elected official who is given the opportunity to serve holds the position as a public trust on behalf of the citizens who elected him or her. It is accordingly an elected official’s duty to be open when making decisions on behalf of the community and make sure that citizens understand how and why such decisions are being made.
There is only one candidate running for Chairman of the Prince William County School Board with a concrete plan and a price tag to reduce class sizes.
That’s why I’m supporting Tim Singstock for School Board Chairman. We can finally understand specific targets and a specific price tag for reducing classroom sizes. Tim’s plan will allow us to discuss the solution as taxpayers and families while empowering both our School Board and our County Supervisors to work together to achieve positive outcomes for our children.

Good morning Prince William – The VETS Program of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers age 55+ to drive veterans and/or their spouses to their doctors’ appointments. Most of these appointments are local. They especially have a need in the Gainesville, Bristow and Haymarket area. They also have a very special lady with a spinal injury who needs to get to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland.
