Prince William Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart At-large will return for his 9th year on the Board in 2016.

The Republican beat out Democrat challenger Rick Smith for the county’s top job by 14 points, with nearly 57% of the vote. Stewart gained the national spotlight in his early days on the Board of Supervisors for his stance on deporting illegal immigrants convicted of crimes.

Republican Mark Dudenehfer will head back to Richmond to represent the 2nd District in the Virginia House of Delegates. Dudenhefer retakes the seat after beating Democrat challenger Josh King, and losing in 2013 to Democrat Micheal Futrell.

If you could drive over train tracks on Route 15 in Haymarket rather, would that improve your commute?

Prince William County will request $45 million in state transportation funding to build a bridge that will carry vehicles on Route 15 over train tracks near the interseciton of Route 55 in Haymarket. Today, traffic backs up here during the morning and evening rush hours.

I write this letter today to Make sure our Commonwealth Attorney Mr. Paul Ebert’s long standing record for the troubled Juveniles in our County is 1brought to light in the wake of his bid for re-election. His foresight and support of the Prince William County Drug Court program did in fact help our son, if not Save his life during a very troubled time as a young adolescent.

Without going into a whole lot of detail, our son found himself involved with the drug culture very early in his adolescent years and consequently in trouble with the court system. Enter in the Prince William County Juvenile Drug Court Program, he was given a second chance, through this program and brought along over an 18-month period of supervision by the Juvenile Court System, counselling, drug testing, New Directions alternative school, and yes, some time spent in the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
