· Meals on Wheels has an urgent need for drivers to deliver a warm meal at mid-day to a homebound senior. This is a fantastic job to meet a few neighbors and bring joy. You can sign up for a regular day or be a fill-in driver. It’s very easy to do by just picking up a few meals at either Senior Center kitchen and delivering them out to your route. A car overturned on Garrisonville Road about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10.
Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday for the state’s Primary Election.
Voters statewide will choose who they want to be their respective party’s gubernatorial candidates. In Prince William County, voters will choose Democratic Party candidates in four House of Delegates Races.

“During their June 6, 2017 meeting, the Occoquan Town Council appointed Interim Chief of Police and Town Sergeant Adam Linn to permanently fill the position. Chief Linn, a 15-year law enforcement veteran, has been serving as the Town’s Interim Chief/Town Sergeant since December of last year upon the retirement of previous Chief Sheldon Levi. Chief Linn first joined the Town of Occoquan in February 2016 as an Auxiliary Police Officer.
