From Prince William police: 

Sexual Assault Investigation – On June 15, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred on June 10 at a home in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 5-year-old boy, was inappropriately touched by the accused, identified as a family member. The victim disclosed the incident to a school teacher who contacted Child Protective Services. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Flooded roadways have been a problem in Prince William County today. 

While they’ve cleared the scenes, police were called to direct traffic around flooded roads at the intersections of Route 1 and Mary’s Way in Woodbridge and Route 29 and Sudley Road near Manassas.

Lake Ridge July 4, 2017 9:41 p.m. Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Department responded to the report of a house fire at 2255 Spinnaker Court, Lake Ridge. Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported fire from the roof. Crews worked quickly to fight the blaze which had spread over much of the roof. The fire was under control within 15 minutes.

The restaurant space at 11 Hope Road in Stafford has seen many restauranteurs come and go.

We started reporting on the space in 2011 when it was known as County Fare, a small mom and pop diner opened by a retired Marine who wanted to give Stafford locals a taste of some of the cuisine he had in the corps.
