Thousands of people packed Stafford Marketplace on Tuesday night for the annual National Night Out celebration.
The annual event is organized by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office and has strong participation by the county’s fire and rescue department, area churches, and local businesses.

STAFFORD — A crash on Interstate 95 on Wednesday morning forced crews to inspect a highway overpass in Stafford County.
A portion of Truslow Road that crosses the interstate highway via the American Legion Road Bridge was closed to traffic for about two hours.

STAFFORD COUNTY — (Press Release) A suspect was arrested on Monday by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after he was observed urinating on a mailbox and subsequently fled on foot from deputies.
On August 5, 2019, at approximately 5:49 p.m., Deputy Gordon responded to reports of a suspicious person in the area of Regency Drive, near Park Ridge Elementary School. A man subject was seen urinating on a mailbox and a sign.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) On August 2 at 8:23 a.m., officers responded to the area near Hoadly Rd. and Dumfries Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a fight.
The victim, a 35-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. The investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to leave the area in his vehicle when the accused drove his own vehicle aggressively towards the victim.
