Immigration officials say they will now release information about all illegal aliens who have been arrested in Prince William County.
Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials told Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey A. Stewart they will now release identities and final disposition of every convicted illegal immigrant who was turned over to ICE, according to insidenova.com.
Virginia Railway Express officials say there may be some delays on Monday as trains could be forced to move slower through the Marine Corps Base, but they are not anticipating a full-service shut down on the Fredericksburg line like they had Friday.
VRE canceled all trains on the line following the derailment of seven cars on a 79-car coal train Thursday. (more…)

Quantico, Va. – Train service between Washington and Richmond should be restored this afternoon.
Officials with CSX, the owners of the rail line, say repairs should be completed this afternoon and train traffic on the rails will be able to return to normal. (more…)

Officials say between Memorial Day and Labor Day is when your car is most likely to be stolen. And though the number of auto thefts in the area has dropped in recent years, more than 17,000 cars were stolen last year in the Washington area, said AAA Mid Atlantic spokesman John Townsend. (more…)

Vernon, Va. – The Fairfax County Stormwater Planning Division held a community forum Thursday to present a draft management plan for three Fairfax County watersheds – Belle Haven, Dogue Creek and Four Mile Run. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Stafford, Prince William and Fairfax counties.
A lines of severe thunderstorms were approaching in the area, all capable of producing winds of 60 mph, hail and heavy rains.
