Dale City, Va. — After a man was found dead inside his home late Thursday, neighbors say more needs to be done to protect their community. Police are investigating it as a homicide.

“We have asked many times for a night security guard to watch over things here at night, but we’re always told that if we don’t like it we can leave,” said one resident outside the Dale City’s River Run Senior Apartments on Friday – the complex where the victim was found.

Jubair Ahmad, 24, a Pakistani native who since 2007 has lived in Woodbridge, is charged with providing material to support Lashkar-e-Tayyiba – a designated terror organization, as well as making false statements during an investigation, according to U.S. Eastern District of Virginia Attorney Neil McBride.

In September, Ahmad made a video and uploaded to YouTube showing conversations with operatives believed to be connected to the terror group, said McBride. After several video exchanges between suspected members of the group and Jubair, the final video showed Lashkar-e-Tayyiba’s leader, Hafiz Saeed, with trucks exploding after being hit with improvised explosive devices, said McBride.
