Woodbridge, Va. — A burglary in Woodbridge on Monday prompted a police SWAT team into action.
Officers were called at 1:45 p.m. to the 3300 block of Ladino Court, near Cardinal Drive, for a report of a burglary at townhome, and found a ladder set against a second floor window. Officers learned there were several firearms inside the home and then took up positions around the townhouse.
Presidential candidate Ron Paul made a campaign stop in Springfield last night. In year’s past many candidates – from Barack Obama to John McCain – have all stopped in the region to rally support. So, if they do it again this year, where in the Potomac Communities should candidates come and make a speech?

Pentagon: Remains Of Some 9-11 Victims Went To Landfill
CBS D.C. reports Partial remains of several 9/11 victims were incinerated by a military contractor and sent to a landfill, a government report said Tuesday in the latest of a series of revelations about the Pentagon’s main mortuary for the war dead.

Richmond, Va. – Efforts to expand job opportunities for veterans are receiving overwhelming support in the General Assembly this session, but veterans’ requests for tax exemptions and easier access to retail discounts have gained little traction.
The intruder broke the lock to a fence at the business and went inside a yard where vehicles were parked and stole 17 car batteries, 27 aluminum wheels and other parts, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

Woodbridge, Va. — A 16-year-old girl apparently came from Mexico to Woodbridge and engaged in a sexual relationship.
Police were called to the 3400 block of Brookville Lane in Woodbridge on Saturday where they learned the 16-year-old met the suspect on a social media site and then came to live with him in Woodbridge late last month.
