STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — When temperatures outside your car reach 70 degrees the temperature of the air inside your car can quickly rise even higher.
That’s why Stafford County animal control officials are warning pet owners not to leave their animals locked inside their cars without air conditioning as the dog days of summer approach.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Local legislators will hold a series of town hall meetings beginning tonight.
The meetings will both be held in Woodbridge, tonight at the Prince William County Government Center’s McCoart Building at tomorrow night at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building.

Ronald R. Green, Sr., 69 of Alexandria, Virginia, died June 23, 2014, at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital surrounded by family. He honorably served in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Sergeant Major. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; sons, Ron Green, Jr of Portsmouth and Michael Green of Fairfax; and one grandchild, Ronald William Green. A memorial is scheduled for 6pm, Monday, July 7 at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge. The family will receive visitors from 7-9pm immediately following the memorial at Country Inn & Suites, 2621 Prince William Pkwy, Woodbridge.
