Gregory Dean Ross passed away on January 28, 2015, at the Medical Center in Fishersville, Virginia from complications following spinal surgery. He was born September 4, 1957, to Donald and Patricia Ross at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was 57 years old. He attended elementary and middle schools in Woodbridge, Virginia and graduated from Garfield High School in 1976. He worked as an independent remodeling contractor and painter of historical houses and, together with his wife, owned and operated The Stuffed Basket, a unique gift business in the town of Occoquan until moving to Massanutten. He leaves his wife, Margaret Wade Goodwin Ross, mother Patricia, sister Teresa, brother Mitchell, and stepsons Mark (wife Leslie) and Scott (wife Tammy), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father Donald and stepson Wade Goodwin (wife Beth).

Obituaries

Major Angela M Erale, USA, of Montclair, VA, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, died in New Mexico on February 14, 2015. She was 33 years old.
Angela’s sudden passing is a blow not only to her family but also to the United States Army in which she so faithfully served. Angela was a veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. She was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and numerous other awards.

Angela was born in Mobile, Alabama, and grew up in Montclair, VA. She attended Hylton High School and graduated with the class of 1999. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004, Angela screened for and was accepted into the Army Officer Candidate School in Ft. Benning, GA, and graduated in 2005.

(Woodbridge, VA – February 20th, 2015) – The American Heart Association continues its program to train 8,500 local residents in Hands-Only CPR by hosting simultaneous events at three locations across Prince William County.  Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, PHI Air Medical, and Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department will host simultaneous events on Thursday Feb. 26th from 7-9pm at the following locations:
