Allan George Thorpe Sr. (82), of Dumfries VA, passed away peacefully on 6 June 2017 at 9:14 AM. Born 1 July 1934 in Bethel Town, Jamaica to Edwin and Vida Thorpe.
He is survived by his children Allan Jr., Ann Marie, Drew and Sandra; Grandchildren Britney, Devin and Serena, Sisters Phyllis, Hyacinth, Winifred and countless other family members.
Allan was a carpenter and instructor who used his special skills to support and train young men through Catholic Church’s Alpha Boys School in Kingston, Jamaica.
All who knew Allan are welcome to services that will take place on 26 June 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Triangle, VA.
