She was predeceased by her sisters; late Hazel Chapman (late Jesse), and the late Betty Brown (late Tom).
Gladys was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in San Angelo, TX. She had attended the Church of the Nazarene, Woodbridge, VA. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother; which is an honor that not many people can attain. Gladys loved to crochet, and work in the garden, but more importantly to keep up with her floral garden. Her home made yeast rolls were the best that anyone ever tasted. Her late husband could not wait for the rolls to cool from the over, before he could butter one and feast on it. Her late Siberian Husky; Kiana, was also the love of her life.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene, 14001 Smoketown Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; www.alz.org, or the Mary Washington Hospice; www.marywashingtonhealthcare.com
