Dr. Apostle Ivan V. Scott, Sr., 57, of Dale City, VA, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was a native of Nansemond County (Suffolk), VA, and was the son of the late James & Almeda Scott. He was preceded in death by his brothers Reginald Scott and Willie “June” Perkins. Ivan graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1978. In the fall of 1978, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Persian Gulf
