A Woodbridge man is charged with shooting woman in the arm.

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *ARREST – On July 8, Kevin BROWN was located and arrested without incident at his residence in Woodbridge. The accused was wanted in connection to a shooting investigation that occurred at his residence located in the 12200 block of Aztec Pl in Woodbridge on June 30. Following the investigation, detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau obtained an additional warrant for the accused for attempted murder.

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On June 30 at 4:49PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Aztec Pl in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic with weapons. The victim, a 30 year old woman of
Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation outside their residence which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a handgun from the residence then fired toward the victim grazing her on the arm.
The accused then fired several shots into the air before he fled the area in a red sedan. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Kevin BROWN. Attempts to located BROWN have been unsuccessful.
The investigation continues.
