The Rappahannock Area Health District is reporting its first coronavirus death.
The victim, in his 60s, died at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital, Fredericksburg.com reports. The victim’s family told the news outlet he was unable to receive a coronavirus test.

In some patients, COVID-19 can lead to severe illness, including death, particularly among those who are older or those who have chronic medical conditions, like diabetes, heart or lung disease or compromised immune systems, the health district adds.
