Woodbridge DMV renovated, to reopen Wednesday

WOODBRIDGE — The Woodbridge DMV customer service center will reopen this week.

DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb is expected to join state and local legislators at a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated center, which features more customer service windows.

The ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 at the customer service center, located at 2371 Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge.

The center and a Prince William County Voter Registrar’s office temporarily closed for renovations April 6. The voter registration office reopened April 15.

The upgraded customer service center will allow for more efficient customer flow and minimize customer wait times. Five service windows will be added, bringing the total number of windows to 18.

An additional five cameras will be added to service windows so driver’s license transactions can be completed faster.
