LINCOLN, NH – Robert Neil Milligan, 50, of Catlett, VA passed away suddenly on July 9, 2017 in Lincoln, NH after a fun filled day participating in Warren Old Home Days and riding with his ATV buddies.
Robert was born on December 21, 1966 in Arlington, VA to Robert D. Milligan and Mary A. Maillet. He was a graduate of Bishop Dennis J. O’Connell High School. Following in his father’s footsteps, he became an amateur radio operator (KA4PWS), participating in Field Days, giving demonstrations of Boy Scout Clubs, and aeronautical acrobatic air competition of vintage planes.
Robert worked for Fairfax Virginia County Government for over 30 years as an Information Technology Manager for the Human Resources Department. He received many awards over the years including Employee of the year for Network Administration for many consecutive years. Continuing with his computer skills he owned RNM Solutions and enjoyed establishing many friendships while helping others learn the way of Information Technology.

He developed and was the administrator for ATVWild.com which has world-wide membership. He also donated his hair each year to Locks for Love. He had the natural ability to befriend the people he came in contact with, and touched the lives of so many different people. He was always ready with a helping hand to accomplish any task and overcome any problems facing those in need around him. Although he was not himself a father, he served as a father figure to many of those around him. He was especially proud of his niece Maggie.
