U.S. Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-7th, Prince William, Stafford, Fredericksburg) voiced opposition to the Trump administration’s diversity, equity, and inclusion rollbacks as well as its downsizing of the federal workforce at a Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce roundtable in Woodbridge on Friday. Speaking to local leaders and chamber members at Betanya Ethiopian Market and Cafe, Vindman conveyed support for minority-owned small businesses and encouraged handiwork in the trades amid the spread of artificial intelligence. Prince William Supervisors Knew Digital Gateway Notices Were Flawed Before 2023 Vote

Prince William County supervisors knew two years ago that newspaper ads announcing public hearings and votes on the Prince William Digital Gateway were flawed and twice considered postponing their votes to fix the problem – but decided not to. On Wednesday, Prince William County’s lawyers will go to court to ask Judge Kimberly Irving to place a stay on her Aug. 7 ruling that canceled the Prince William Digital Gateway over exactly that issue.
