County leaders will make their case to state officials, presenting them with an annual legislative wishlist of items they want to see passed during the upcoming General Assembly session in January 2024.
Among them are asking the state to restore funding to things the county once covered with federal coronavirus mitigation funds, expanding public transportation, and paying someone other than county police to take people suffering mental trauma to hospitals outside the county.
