With less than a year under its belt, the Manassas City library branch, the newest of the 12 Prince William County Public Libraries, is the system's least-visited full-service library.
The Manassas City Public Library opened in February and held its grand opening celebration in June. The library is located at 10104 Dumfries Road, next to the Wellington Plaza Giant Food store.
Last month, 1,900 people visited the library, which was down from a recent three-month high of nearly 2,300 people in July, according to the library system statistics. The number of registered library cardholders at the city library increased to just over 16,100 in September, up 117 since July.
