Fire rips through 3 townhomes in Georgetown South

A total of eight people were displaced after the fire.

Manassas fire crews were called to a house fire at 9203 Byrd Drive at 11:49 a.m.

The found one house fully involved in flames, with flames that had also spread out into the two adjacent homes.

Everyone was evacuated from the burning homes, we’re told.

Fire officials are investigating what caused the blaze.

Georgetown South is a neighborhood full of townhomes designed to mimic homes in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
