An explosion in a garage injured at least one person in Bristow.
Fire and rescue crews were called to a home in the 12000 block of Lake Dorian Drive at 1:04 p.m. The house is located near Victory Elementary School.
They found one person burned, and then took that person to a burn unit. The victim suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
A building inspector was called to the home, however, minimal damage was reported.
Improperly discarded smoking materials are to blame for the explosion, said Prince William fire and rescue spokesman Matt Smolsky.
